Serious questions have been raised about the security arrangements at the world-famous Baba Mahakal Temple. A young man, dressed in a sari-blouse, a nose ring, anklets, and a lemon garland, modeled after actor Allu Arjun’s character in the film Pushpa, entered the temple premises. Surprisingly, the security personnel responsible for enforcing the rules were seen taking selfies with him.
It’s worth noting that photography is strictly prohibited within the Mahakal Temple complex, and entry into the temple complex is also prohibited in objectionable or inappropriate attire. Despite this, more than half a dozen security personnel stationed at the Mansarovar Gate not only didn’t stop the young man, but also allowed him to take photographs with them. It’s alleged that an employee, under special protocol, even allowed him to visit the Ganesh Mandapam. During this time, the young man filmed a video of the temple complex and later uploaded it to social media.
