After winning the IPL, cricketer Virat Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma visited Saint Premananda in Vrindavan. The two arrived at the Kelly Kunj Ashram at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. Wearing face masks, they exited the car and entered the ashram barefoot.
Saint Premanand’s disciples welcomed them. They stayed at the ashram for two hours. When they emerged, Virat had sandalwood paste and a tripundra mark on his forehead. He also had a book in his hand. After meeting Premanandji, they walked 150 meters to the ashram of the great guru Hit Govind Sharan Maharaj. There, they met Hit Govind Sharan Maharaj.

Earlier, Virat and Anushka had also visited Saint Premananda Maharaj on Akshaya Tritiya on April 20 this year and listened to the satsang.
Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won their second consecutive IPL title on May 31st. The team defeated the Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Virat Kohli scored the fastest fifty of his IPL career in the final. Kohli was also named Player of the Match.

IPL 2026: Kohli scores 600+ runs
Virat Kohli’s excellent form was a major reason for RCB’s success. He scored over 600 runs for the fourth consecutive season. The team’s opening combination changed throughout the season, but Kohli’s performance remained consistent. He scored the most runs for the team in the season, with 675.

Couple visited Premanandji for the 7th time
Virat and Anushka have met Saint Premanand seven times so far. They first met on January 4, 2023. This is their seventh meeting in three years and their third this year. Before April, they had also visited the ashram on February 16, after their son Akay’s birthday. In 2025, the couple visited the ashram three times. They arrived with their children in January. After this, they visited Premanandji in May and December.
