The date.. when the Indian Army infiltrated their own territory and taught the masters of terror a lesson which history named- ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’.
Today… it has been a full year since Operation Sindoor… but its echo… still remains in the ears of the enemy as fear.
April 22, 2025… the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, shook the entire nation. The blood of 26 innocent people was shed and that very day it was decided that the answer would be given not just with words… but with force. Then came that night… when India’s brave soldiers took precise and decisive action against terrorist hideouts in PoK and Pakistan, which was named Operation Sindoor.

On the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army said that Operation Sindoor sent a clear message that no terrorist hideout in Pakistan is safe. The Army also said that this operation was not the end, but the beginning. India will continue to fight against terrorism. On Thursday, the heads of military operations of the Indian Air Force, Navy, and Army gathered at the South Western Command in Jaipur.
A press conference was held here detailing various aspects of the military operation. The army reported that Operation Sindoor resulted in the deaths of over 100 Pakistani soldiers and over 100 terrorists in the terrorist camp.

We cannot bring back our brothers and sisters killed in the Pahalgam attack, but we can ensure such an attack never happens again. Our objective was clear and we were given full freedom to conduct the operation.
Several Army officers including Lieutenant General Zubin A Minwalla, Lieutenant General Rajeev Ghai, Air Marshal Avdhesh Kumar and Vice Admiral AN Pramod were present at the press conference.

Zubin A Minawala is the Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Operations), Rajiv Ghai is the Director General of Military Operations and Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Air Marshal Avdesh Kumar is the Director General of Air Operations and Vice Admiral A N Pramod is the Director General of Naval Operations.
During the Operation Sindoor, these three officers held press conferences on behalf of the Indian Army, Air Force and Navy.
