According to a report of Mid day, Shakti Shalini has reached in it’s final stage of production. The release date of the movie was scheduled to release on 24th December where it was set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘King’ but now it has been postponed. According to some reports, the makers have decided to release it in January 2027. However, neither there is any official information related to this nor any new release date is fixed.
6th film of Maddock Horror Comedy Universe
‘Shakti Salini’ is 6th film of Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. Before this, Maddock has made ‘Stree’, ‘Stree2’, ‘Bhediya’, ‘Munjya’, and ‘Thamma’. The most interesting thing is that this film marks the second time Vishal Jethwa and Aneet Padda are working together. Previously, they worked together in the 2022 film ‘Salaam Venky.’ Aneet had a very small role in this film. It was confirmed last year that Aneeth Padda will be seen as the lead actress in the Shakti Shalini film, which will be the next big chapter in the Maddock Horror Universe. A glimpse of his character was shown in the post-credits scene of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Thama, which was released in theatres on 21 October 2025.
Vineet Kumar will be Villain
In addition to Aneet and Vishal, Vineet Kumar Singh also plays a key role in the film ‘Shakti Shalini.’ He plays a ruthless villain in the film. Vineet Kumar Singh was seen doing excellent acting in Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava and Sunny Deol’s Jaat. According to a report in Variety India, the actor has completed shooting his part.

If we talk about Shah Rkuh Khan starrer ‘King’, it will be released on December 24, 2026 in box office. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan stars like Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Rani Mukerji will be seen. This movie is directed by Siddharth Anand.
