Ahead of IIFA 2026, the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) has officially announced the launch of IIFA Connex, a dynamic new platform envisioned as a creative hub for voices across entertainment, fashion, business and culture.
Positioned under the theme “Built For Connection, Collaboration And Conversation,” IIFA Connex aims to go beyond traditional industry networking by creating a space that encourages meaningful interactions, creative exchange and cultural dialogue.
The inaugural edition of IIFA Connex will debut with a special evening titled “From Styled to Screen: A Global Celebration of Cinema and Style,” bringing together leading personalities from the worlds of cinema and fashion. The official partners for the inaugural evening on May 28, 2026, include House of NV and Mercii Mumbai.
Speaking about the vision behind the initiative, Co-Founder Andre Timmins said that the idea stemmed from a long-felt need to create a space within the industry that moves beyond red carpets, formalities and commercial agendas.
“For many years, I have felt there was a need for a space within our industry where people can genuinely come together to connect, exchange ideas, discover new perspectives and simply enjoy meaningful conversation in a relaxed and inspiring environment,” he said.
Describing Connex as a contemporary meeting ground for the creative community, Andre added that the platform is designed to naturally bring together entertainment, fashion, media, business, music, culture and innovation under one roof.
He further shared that the initiative is not intended to be “just another industry event,” but rather a carefully curated atmosphere where established names and emerging talent can collaborate organically, build meaningful relationships and inspire future creative possibilities.

With its focus on creativity, networking and cultural exchange in a relaxed social setting, IIFA Connex is expected to evolve into a recurring platform for collaboration and conversations across industries ahead of IIFA 2026.
