Students who fail in one subject will be given the opportunity to save a year by appearing in a compartment exam. However, students who fail in two or more subjects will have to reappear in class 12. The CBSE 12th pass percentage in 2025 was 88.39%, an increase of 0.41% compared to 2024.
Failed students will get another chance
Students who fail in one or more subjects will still be given the opportunity to take the compartment exam. This will save them a year and allow them to improve their scores. The board will soon release the compartment exam schedule, after which the application process will begin.
