Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who has often embarrassed the Congress party with his outspokenness, has once again praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. He also advised his own party to introspect after the assembly election results.
Praised PM Modi before
Tharoor has previously praised the Prime Minister on several issues, including Operation Sindoor. He acknowledged the Congress-led UDF’s victory in Kerala, but pointed to the party’s disappointing performance in three other states and the Union Territory of Puducherry, urging his party to learn a lesson.
Tharoor praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their effective election strategy in Bengal and Assam and acknowledged their organizational skills. “They (Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah) have done a good job in Bengal and Assam. They have strong organizational capabilities. We can all learn a lot from this,” Tharoor said.
BJP will form government in Bengal for the first time
It is noteworthy that the BJP is poised to form a government in Bengal for the first time, while in Assam it will form its government for the third time. TVK is on the verge of forming a government in Tamil Nadu after winning 108 seats. The NDA is poised to form another government in Puducherry.
