Jaipur: An overspeeding dumper crushed two young men riding a bike in Jaipur. A third man survived by jumping and falling away. He stood near the injured for a long time, shouting for help.
The accident occurred on Monday night under the Daulatpura culvert on the Jaipur-Delhi Highway in the Daulatpura police station area near the city.

According to information, all three youths are residents of Raisar village, under the jurisdiction of the Jamwa Ramgarh police station. A CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced.

Came to buy iron rods
Head Constable Mahavir of Daulatpura police station said that Mahesh Kumar Gurjar (33) and his neighbor Kailash Yogi (40) died in the accident. Mahesh Gurjar’s brother Mukesh narrowly escaped.
According to information, Mahesh and Kailash were undergoing construction work on their house in Bantala Gurjaran, Raisar. The three had come to Jaipur to buy iron rods. While returning, they were crushed by a dumper.

Brother screaming for help
Kailash Yogi and Mahesh were seriously injured after being hit by the dumper. Mukesh, who was riding pillion on the bike, narrowly escaped.
He shouted for help from oncoming vehicles to save his two companions who had fallen on the road along with the bike, but no driver responded.
Then, the injured were taken to Jaipur’s Kanwatia Hospital in a toll ambulance, where Kailash was immediately pronounced dead. Mahesh, however, died during treatment.
